Vicki Gunvalson Won't Leave 'Real Housewives of Orange County' Unless She's Fired — 'I'm Still Riding The Pony'

Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has no plans to quit the hit Bravo show despite being demoted to a "friend of the cast" for season 14. Vicki appeared on the Jerry O show on Tuesday, August 13, and opened up about her future on the franchise.
Vicki, 57, made the appearance with costars Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador. She assured host Jerry O'Connell that she wouldn't give up her coveted orange until Bravo producers kicked her off the show.
"Our producer, Scott Dunlop, said, ‘Unless they kick you off the horse, don’t voluntarily get off the horse.’ So, I’m still on the horse! I’m still riding the pony," she explained.
She continued, "I don’t know what my future is, but I’m having fun and they’re my friends. I have much love for my franchise — a love for what I’ve created and a lot of love for my cast, we’ve been through hell and back. But truthfully, it’s our reality. It’s what my life has gone through for the last 14 years. And it’s been some bumpiness.”

Tamra, 51, and Shannon, 55, speculated that Vicki's demotion was only temporary.
"She’ll always be the O.G.,” Shannon said. “She’s be back next year," Tamra added.
Vicki also revealed the encouraging words Andy Cohen shared with her after her demotion. "You know what, no one has ever lasted 14 years on a reality show. Be proud of that," Vicki confessed he told her.
