Victoria Beckham is clearing the air about her relationship with husband David Beckham. At the Forbes Women’s Summit in New York City on Tuesday, the fashion designer praised her longtime hubby, and insisted she tries to be “the best wife” she can be, despite rumors of an impending divorce between the British powerhouse pair.
“I try really, really hard. I try hardest to be the best mother,” Victoria said at the event, according to Hello!
“I am trying to be the best wife and the best professional. When I get home I try to put the phone down and spend time with the children and spend time with David,” she explained.
Victoria also gushed over David, whom she’s been married to for nearly 19 years, and his parenting skills. The two have four children together, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13 and daughter Harper, 6.

“I have the support of an incredible husband. We really are equal with everything we do at home with the children,” Victoria gushed. “When I’m away he’s the one doing the school run and doing the cooking.”
When rumors arose earlier this month that Victoria and David were heading for a divorce, the former Spice Girl quickly shut down the noise. “There is no impending statement, has been no statement and there is no divorce,” Victoria’s rep told Us Weekly. “What nonsense. Fake news fueled by social media. Embarrassing for the sloppy outlets who have chosen to write such rubbish.”
