Brittany Cartwright is headed down the aisle with Jax Taylor, but her dad still isn’t on board! In a preview for the April 22 episode of Vanderpump Rules, the former bad boy confronts Brittany’s dad about his past infidelity. Scroll below to see the awkward moment.
While Brittany, 30, was getting her wedding dress with all of the women in her family, Jax, 39, was getting grilled by her dad. Brittany’s dad told Jax, “What’s important is faithfulness.”
Jax addressed the cheating and said, “I love Brittany more than anything but what’s important is I got to take care of this guy first.”
The VPR star pointed to himself and stated, “So, I’m always going to be number one.” Brittany’s dad didn’t look happy with the response.

The showdown follows Brittany and Jax’s dramatic couples’ therapy, which aired on VPR on April 8. The bride-to-be told their therapist, “My mom and my mamaw love him. He can do no wrong in their eyes. But I'm excited for Jax and my dad to talk, too."
Brittany explained her family saw her and Jax “fight a lot” during their time in Kentucky. Her dad in particular she said “had a hard time” when Brittany took Jax back after he cheated.
As fans of VPR know, Jax admitted to cheating on his now-fiancé with former SUR employee Faith Stowers in December 2017.
