We Would Freak Out if Britney Spears Dated Any of These Eight People

Honestly, we feel that the best thing for Britney Spears at the moment is some alone time. A broken engagement is no joke, and we say she should take all the time she needs. Still, that doesn't mean it's not fun to wonder who she will date next and since it's probably (heavy sigh) not going to be Justin Timberlake, we started thinking about who else Brit could date that would just totally make us lose it (in both good and bad ways). Check out our list!

We would seriously lose it if Britney hooked up with this ex-NSYNCer. It might be the closest we come to a Britney and Justin reunion. We're just a bunch of '90s kids at heart. Don't hold it against us.

Who? Well, Anson Mount, of course, was Britney's co-star in the amazing 2002 film Crossroads. This is what he looks like today. He's kind of got a Jason Trawick thing going on. Everyone has a type.

Maks is our favorite Dancing With the Stars pro of all time. He's got a passionate personality, and we think he could inspire Brit to show off her dancing chops again. Also, he's hot. Like really hot.

Remember, these aren't suggestions. These are just people that would make us go, "OMG! OMG!" So, here's Jason Alexander, not that guy from Seinfeld, but the childhood friend of Britney who married her in Vegas in January 2004. The marriage was annulled after 55 hours. (Of course, if Britney dated the guy from Seinfeld, we would freak out about that as well.) We wouldn't be surprised if Brit eventually settles down with someone leading a quieter life around Kentwood, La., but we'd really freak out if she and Jason gave it a serious go.

Britney and DJ Pauly D: would anyone's head not explode at this duo? They've already collaborated in a professional sense, so we feel like if any sparks were flying, they might have already flown away, but you never know! It's MTV past and present! Actually, wait. Now it's just the past, and it's a bummer that it's too late for any Britney guest-spots on Jersey Shore.

You know what reality show is still going strong? The Real Housewives of New Jersey! We would love to know what Caroline Manzo would think of her son Albie dating the princess of pop (and hey, if it timed out so that Britney might appear on a couple of episodes of RHONJ and then she and Albie had a Bravo spin-off, you know, that would be OK with us).

Something tells us that those of you who side with Kris Humphries in his divorce case against Kim Kardashian would get a kick out of him hooking up with Brit. Who's more famous than Kim Kardashian? Britney Spears, definitely. That could be some sweet revenge. Plus, an athlete would be something new for Brit.

This would be a nice throwback. Who else saw Drive Me Crazy starring Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier in theaters in 1999? And the theme song for that movie was...? Right, "Drive Me Crazy," off Britney Spears' debut album. We might love this.
