Though the Spice Girls claim they’re ending their tour early to get back to their kids, according to the Mirror, the infighting amongst members has gotten so bad that they stay in different hotels now. The main row seems to be between Mel B. and Mel C. So much for girl power.
Woody Allen’s got quite a thing for Scarlett Johansson. As reported in Page Six, the nebbish-y director loves leading lady Johansson. She is, he says, “so beautiful and so sexy and so gifted…she can do anything, but she has to make the right choices of films and she’s got to not go the Page Six party route. I don’t want to read about her in the paper with this boyfriend or that boyfriend, or in rehab or taking pills.” Plus, he added, she needs to take better roles. “I don’t think she’s always made great choices.” Like appearing in Scoop?
Uma Thurman will see her stalker — in court. A judge set a March 11 court date for Thurman to testify against Jack Johnson, a man who stalked Thurman for two years, and once showed up at her Greenwich Village apartment threatening to kill himself if he saw her with another man. Johnson’s lawyer George Vomvolakis told the Daily News that Johnson was harmless —“just a romantic pursuing the woman he loves.”
