Andy Cohen Reveals The Most Awkward Question He Ever Asked On ‘WWHL’
April 12 2018, Updated 2:35 p.m. ET
Andy Cohen is known for breaking all the rules on his late night show Watch What Happens Live. With games like “Plead The Fifth,” where he asks celebs to drop names and spill secrets, guests know to be prepared for some uncomfortable questions. But even a pro like Andy admits there have been times where he feared he went too far — and things got a little awkward in the famous clubhouse!
“I try to be the guy in late night who goes there and asks the things that other people want to but won’t,” Andy told People.
But being daring doesn’t come without consequences. “I asked Shaquille O’Neal how big his penis was — he wears a size 26 shoe! I was scared,” Andy admitted.
“It was on my mind all day. And then I came to work and I said, ‘I can’t ask him this. And they were like, ‘Oh, you’re asking!’” Andy recalled.

Normally, WWHL films in NYC in front of an audience of just 32 people. This week, though, the late night host is filming in Los Angeles at The Wiltern, which fits 1,300 people!
“It’s so exciting and the energy is so great,” Andy explained. “Normally, it’s impossible to get a ticket to my show. Because we have 32 seats. So now to open it up, at least 7,000 people will have seen the show this week in person.”
