Yolanda Hadid Protects Gigi And Kendall’s Reputation After Rebecca Romijn Puts Down Their Modeling Careers!
Watch what you say! Rebecca Romijn was bombarded on Twitter after she made negative comments about Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner’s fake modeling careers. The first one to stand up against the bashing was mama bear Yolanda Hadid.
Rebecca, 43, made a statement to Entertainment Tonight about how social media stars shouldn’t be considered models. She said, “I know a lot of people -- legitimate fashion people -- can’t stand it. Hate it that these, you know, social media stars are now the supermodels in fashion. They are not true supermodels.”
“I have been disappointed that fashion magazines have been supporting this trend of social media stars to set our style standards,” she continued. She then claimed those comments were taken out of context and used for “click bait” headlines.

But on April 29, Yolanda was in full force defending her daughter and fellow modeling friend. She wrote, "Kind, hard working and they accomplished more at half your age in the fashion industry."
A fan got involved and didn’t say something untrue. The user commented that both the girls have come from wealthy and influential families. Yolanda shut this person down as well. "It's THEIR hard work and daily commitment to their profession that got them where they R today #NoParentsInvolved,” she posted.
