Youtuber Lilly Singh has landed herself a cushy new gig! On Thursday, March 14, during her appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she announced that she is now the host of her very own late night show.
The 30-year-old Canada native’s A Little Late with Lilly Singh will be replacing Last Call With Carson Daly at 1:35 a.m. Last month, Carson Daly, 45, announced he was stepping away from his show after 17 years on air.
During her Tonight Show appearance, Lilly, also known as Superwoman, expressed her passion for the new project. “I’m so excited because I truly get to create a show from scratch,” she said. “I get to make it inclusive, I get to create comedy segments and interview people and really create something that I believe in.”
“An Indian-Canadian woman with her own late night show? Now that is a dream come true,” she added before quipping, “I’m thrilled to bring it to life on NBC, and I hope my parents consider this to be as exciting as a grandchild.”

Once her show premieres, she will become only woman with a late-night talk show on a broadcast network.
In February, Lilly made another huge announcement — she came out as bisexual. On Twitter she wrote, “Female check Coloured check Bisexual check,” before explaining that she has “fully" embraced these pieces of her identity as her “superpowers.”
