Zac Efron celebrated his one year anniversary with girlfriend Sami Miro this week in the most adorable way (have you seen their Instagram “I love you” messages?!) and according to one of Zac’s pals, there's more than one reason he's staying with her.
“She is the best thing that has ever happened to him,” his pal told OK!
According to his friend, Sami, who is a model and designer, has been a great influence on the 27-year-old actor, especially after his rehab stint in 2013, because she “does not drink or use drugs of any sort” and is “incredibly healthy.”

But that’s not the only reason the Neighbors star has fallen for her. The beauty is not looking to get famous by dating Zac, though they certainly aren’t shy about their feelings for each other.
“The reason that the two of them have not gone super public with their relationship aside from attending a few events together is because she does not want to be a part of that life,” his friend said.
The source added: “That is one of the main things that has made Zac fall in love with her is that she has her own life and does her own thing and she is not even the least bit interested in him for his fame.” Aww!
