Zooey Deschanel is celebrating her baby’s first birthday with a mother-daughter stroll and playground date!
The 36-year-old actress was seen with her adorable daughter Elsie Otter at the park in Los Angeles.
The New Girl star covered up her child’s head from the sun with a cute bonnet, but her little face was peeking out.

Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik welcomed their first child in late July last year so it’s likely their outing was part of the little one’s birthday celebrations!
Zooey revealed last year that she gave her daughter the middle name “Otter” after the animal.
“We just really liked the name Elsie and then we both love otters — they’re very sweet and they’re also smart,’ she said on the TODAY show. “They use tools … they hold hands while they sleep, there’s so many amazing things about otters. They’re wonderful animals.”
