The moms are coming back!
The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported that Teen Mom 2 has been renewed for season 9! “MTV isn’t about to get rid of the show, especially now with shows like Jersey Shore Family Vacation doing so well,” a source told the site.
The moms, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, and Briana DeJesus are all set to jump back into filming.

As for Jenelle Evans, it's still reportedly being negotiated because of the on-going drama with her husband, David Eason. As fans may remember, he was fired from the show due to his homophobic Twitter rant. “Jenelle is only negotiating through her lawyer. Some of the executive producers have been on the phone with the lawyer for the last few days, trying to negotiate,” the insider said. “She was not budging and MTV was not budging.” According to the site, the back-and-forth regarding her contract was still occurring earlier this week.
Shortly after filming the reunion special and getting into a physical altercation with Kail, Briana also claimed that she "quit" the show. However, the mother-of-two "got a big pay increase because it is her second season.” The Ashley's insider said, “There was no way she was turning that down.”
Despite all the ups-and-downs that occurred after the last reunion, "MTV is hoping the girls keep the drama going!"
