More and more celebs are rocking cool eyewear lately, which brings up the question—what's the best way to do your makeup to complement different shapes and colored frames? LensCrafters teamed up with Celebrity Makeup Artist Moani Lee (she's worked on Lady Gaga, Natalie Portman, and Julie Bowen) to show speckled ladies everywhere how to play up their eyes behind a pair of fierce lenses...see below for her tips!
Cat Eye: Though a cat-eye frame will flatter with most face shapes, they look best with heart shapes as they provide balance and help narrow your jawline.
“Play up a cat-eye frame by mimicking its shape with winged liner or smoky shadow. Top it off with a bold lip in bright matte orange or fuchsia,” says Lee.

Nude: Nude colors can range from gray to taupe to pale pink and flatter a range of skin tones while looking subtly sexy.
“Nude frames enhance understated sexiness. Makeup for nude-colored frames should be subtle and classic. Skin should be flawless, brows should be well-groomed and cheek, eye, and lip colors should be skin-toned taupes, soft browns, grays, or nude pinks. For a bit more flirt, try a bold Hollywood starlet red lip for a classic twist," says Lee.
Avant-Garde: Large, dramatic shapes are so versatile —they can add just the right amount of funky flair or polished edge to a look.
“Play off the dramatic shapes by keeping skin matte and use a semi-matte lip color. Too much gloss paired with a high-impact shape can be overwhelming. Let your glasses be the star and focus on neutral, perfected skin tones and textures," says Lee.
