We've seen some pretty amazing nails this awards season, but it's not over yet! The Oscars are the biggest night of the year for fashion and beauty trends, which means the stars need to bring it like never before. Our friends at Red Carpet Manicure are just as "trendy tip" obsessed as we are, so we asked them to come up with three different styles inspired by this year's leading lady nominees—try them out for an award-winning look!
This nail look is the perfect complement to Anne's haircut—short and edgy with just a pop of "wow factor."
How-To:
1) Start out by preparing the nails according to the instructions that come with your Red Carpet Manicure kit. Apply Structure coat and cure to short, squoval nails.
2) Apply a thin coat of "And the Winner is" and cure for 45 seconds.
3) Apply a second thin coat of "And the Winner is" and cure for 45 seconds.
4) Place an ample amount of "Dripping in Luxury" on the edge of a makeup sponge. Sponge straight down the center of the nail from cuticle to free edge.
5) Dip the same edge of the makeup sponge in platinum chunky glitter from our “Platinum Gems & Jewels” nail art kit. Sponge straight down the center of the nail from cuticle to free edge and cure for 45 seconds.
6) Apply a final coat of Brilliance Seal & Shine Top Coat Gel and cure in the RCM LED light.
7) Wipe the nails with RCM Purify Cleanser to remove the tacky residue.
8) Apply and massage Revitalize Nourishing Cuticle Oil to condition the cuticle area.
Retro, fun, and flirty nails are "camera ready" with this look for the red carpet.
