Looking for a holiday getaway that will still keep you in the spirit? The New York Palace hotel is launching its first "Holiday Fantasy," giving visitors the royal holiday treatment.
Actor Alan Cumming hosted a special tree lighting on Tuesday night in NYC to commence The New York Palace's 2011 Holiday Fantasy.
The Holiday Fantasy will run until Dec. 24 and includes fun for the whole family. A 30-foot Christmas Tree and Palace Guards greet people in The Palace Courtyard. And during the weekend Holiday Fantasy Brunch, a Snowflake Princess passes out snowflake cookies.

For adults, a daily “Happy Holiday Hour” features holiday cocktails.
