OK! Loves: Yes to Cucumbers Natural Sunscreen
Because I'm a summer girl with a deep love for the sun, I should be using sun-block more than not. I respect its power in keeping my skin safe, but the thought of actively rubbing chemicals into my skin, getting my hands all greasy, and then not being able to touch any of my clothes—well, it's not my very fave. How many white cover-ups have I ruined? Countless.

Even though this year's Memorial Day weekend wasn't the warmest of holidays, the sun was still out and ready to play. I had to be prepared. I tried out Yes to Cucumbers Natural Sunscreen SPF 30—and here's the good news—it's the first sunscreen that hasn't left me feeling icky and annoyed. It's made with natural ingredients like aloe, obviously cucumbers, and green tea, doesn't leave a coating on your hands, and is water resistant for about 40 minutes.

The upfront time notice definitely helps when you're trying to calculate your reapplication times. It also actually absorbed into my skin without leaving white residue and didn't have the super strong typical sunscreen scent. Major bonus points here!

I tried out the sunscreen stick for my face and nose and kept the lotion for my limbs. It's official! It's my new beach bag essential, right there next to my iPod and my cute baseball cap, of course.
