Can’t make it to NYC for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? Don’t worry, OK!’s got you covered! Yesterday we checked out Monique Lhuillier's runway show for a sneak peek at the designer’s collection and loved every minute of it!

OK!'S NEW YORK CITY FASHION BLOG: TRACY REESE

SHOW: Monique Lhuillier

WHEN: Feb. 14, 2011

WHO: Julia Stiles, Brittany Snow, Miss J Alexander

FASHION: A major theme was the black ribbon bow belt tied around the models waist! This was everywhere from the chunky knits to the leopard print! Monique is known for her gowns and she did not disappoint. Major standouts were the leopard evening dresses, which were truly inspired and all of the red dresses! One looked like it stepped right out of Cee-Lo’s Grammy performance, while another one looked like something Natalie Portman would wear on the red carpet. There were definite Oscar gowns in this collection, including a one-shouldered number in black and gold with tulle on the bottom. It was so beautiful people started clapping during the show!

BEAUTY: The models hair was on top of their heads, shaped in almost mini bow styles. The hair was also accessorized with black bow headbands. Makeup was a smokey eye and a pink lip thanks to MAC.

COLOR/OVERHEARD: Julia and Brittany sat next to each other, while Miss J sat a couple seats over in the front row. Brittany (wearing a white Monique dress) was so enthralled she whispered about certain dresses to her friend next to her. She later told OK! she would definitely were some of Monique’s dresses to her next red carpet event!
