Can’t make it to NYC for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week? Don’t worry, OK!’s got you covered! Today we checked out Yigal Azrouel’s runway show for a sneak peek at the collection and loved every minute of it!
SHOW: Yigal Azrouel
WHEN: February 16, 2011
WHO: Vanessa Hudgens, Paz de la Huerta
FASHION: Mixing conservative sheath dresses and slim-cut pant suits with chunky knits, leather paneling and furs, Yigal mixed elegant femininity with preppy menswear-inspired designs. Building on a neutral base palette of black and off-white, pops of royal blue, jade and mandarin orange offered a welcome blast of color.

BEAUTY: Nude, lipstick-free faces sporting just a slash of iridescent yellow eyeshadow across the lids gave the girls an otherworldly look, with hair pulled back into a messy chignon with the help of a slim black alice band.

COLOR/OVERHEARD: Pulling the sly move of slipping in right before the lights went down, Vanessa Hudgens and Paz de la Huerta managed to avoid the usual scrum of reporters and photographers when they took their seats opposite one another. Vanessa was inspired by the editors in the room wearing their fashion week uniform of head to toe black, showing off her perfect pins in a tight black mini. A make-up free Paz went the opposite route, seemingly channeling John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever in a masculine white pant suit with black shirt.
