Sheamus pulled off the shocker of the year in winning the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Atlanta's Philips Arena to cap off Sunday's Survivor Series, cashing in his Money in the Bank contract following Roman Reigns' championship win and subsequent snubbing of Triple H.

After Reigns finished Ambrose off with a spear, the former members of The Shield embraced, before Triple H showed up to congratulate Reigns on the win. While Reigns wasn't very receptive — delivering a spear to The Game — he was soon derailed by Sheamus, who connected with a Brogue Kick and gave his Money in the Bank briefcase to the referee.

After a dazed Reigns managed to avoid a second Brogue Kick attempt, unsuccessfully trying to hit his spear, a third attempt from Sheamus connected, and was enough to put Reigns away. After Sheamus captured the organization's biggest prize for the fourth time, he celebrated with Triple H in the center of the ring, while Reigns was grounded in reality.
