Amy Adams’ New HBO Salary Is INSANE & Her Co-Stars Are Super Jealous
Amy Adams is a huge box office draw, so HBO is banking on the award-winning actress to make their new show, Sharp Objects, a hit. But keeping Amy around may be costing the network major bucks!
According to a show insider, the actress’ jaw-dropping $300,000-per-episode salary is forcing HBO to cut the show’s budget in other necessary places!
“Amy’s salary has chewed up so much of the budget that they’re having to film it with minimal lighting and handheld cameras,” the insider told OK! exclusively. “There are no perks and luxuries on set either and hardly any extras in the background.”
The insider claims that with Amy’s paycheck draining the bank, the crew has been forced to improvise when it comes to cutting costs. Claimed the source, “Sometimes members of the crew will sub in as extras, just so they can keep things moving on schedule.”
“It’s fair to say it’s not a very happy camp because production is being kept very lean and spartan as a result of her high salary,” the insider claimed.
