After months – yes, months – of anticipation and millions of views on Youtube the world’s most famous giraffe, April The Giraffe, finally gave birth!
On Saturday, April went into labor around 7:30 a.m. and the calf was successfully born at 9:50 a.m. Talk about a quick turn around!
Not everything has been so swift for the pregnant giraffe as the zoo has been live streaming footage of April since Feb. 10.
