Blac Chyna’s Assistant Dies After Being Taken Off Life Support
Blac Chyna’s former assistant Lorena “Patty” Hernandez has died after being taken off life support, The Blast reported.
Patty has been in a coma since January, when she suffered a brain hemorrhage at Blac Chyna’s Lashed salon. On Monday, an insider told Page Six that Patty suffered a “third brain bleed” and “was pronounced brain dead.”
“She’s still on life support because her husband decided to donate her organs because they were completely healthy so that she can give the gift of life to other families,” the source told the publication on Wednesday. “They’re finding the recipients now so tomorrow they’re going to take the organs.”
Insiders claim Patty’s husband is preparing to file a wrongful death suit against Chyna for allegedly abusing Patty and not providing her with work’s compensation.
“Chyna has never ever been to the hospital,” the source told Page Six. “I mean all she pretty much did was spread the word and reach out to her baby daddies, so she felt like, ‘That’s how I helped,’” a source said. Both Rob Kardashian and Tyga donated to Patty’s GoFundMe page to help cover her medical expenses, Page Six reported.
