Bow Wow's name skyrocketed in headlines over the past week after he posted a photo of a private jet on Instagram, saying he was heading to New York to do press for his upcoming reality show, Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. That doesn't sound odd at all for a popular artist, but the problem was a fan actually saw him on a regular plane, and not on a jet, which caused the internet to go into a frenzy, and people then created the now viral #BowWowChallenge, in which they poke fun at the 30-year-old by posting photos of places they claim to be but aren't.

So Bow Wow stopped by OK! Magazine's NYC headquarters to explain exactly what was going on with that jet photo.
He tells OK! "I never said I was actually on the plane. That’s the whole thing. It’s no different than when people put up mood pictures and they take people’s pictures and they take a quote and they throw it up. So I think it was cool. I wasn’t mad at it, it got a laugh."
