Catelynn Lowell Admits Placing Carly Up For Adoption Was 'One Of The Hardest Things' She's Ever Done

Fans first fell in love with Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell after their episode of 16 & Pregnant when they were expecting their first child together, Carly. The teenagers decided to place the newborn up for adoption and since then, they have documented their journey on Teen Mom OG.

In a bonus clip, Catelynn opened up about her experience sharing her story with the world. "Placing Carly in the beginning, it was important for me to share with the world just because I feel like there wasn't a true vision of what adoption is really like and MTV really did it with my episode of 16 & Pregnant because it showed the reality of adoption," she said.

The reality star continued, "Your fighting with your internal instinct. You have to constantly 24/7 talk to yourself about the reason why you're doing it. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life but I have way more happy days than I have sad days. It's a rare day I have a sad day and I think it's because I know I made the right decision for her."
