Rivals Chloe Lukasiak and Maddie Ziegler competed against each other at dance competitions week after week to receive the top spot of Abby Lee Miller’s pyramid on Dance Moms.
And now after quitting following season 4, Lukasiak is battling with her former rival again for Choice Dancer at the Teen Choice Awards!
“It’s not really different than anything else,” the Studio 19 dancer exclusively told OKMagazine.com of going against Ziegler. “I’ve always competed against her my whole life. She was probably my biggest rival in the competition world.”
Although the nationals winner revealed that she still keeps in touch with former co-stars Brooke and Paige Hyland, and Nia Sioux, she no longer talks to Ziegler and the other teammates.
“It’s hard to keep in touch because they’re always traveling and our schedules are just really different,” she explained.

Lukasiak’s run on the hit show came to an end after years of Miller favoring Ziegler and even sabotaging Lukasiak during dance competitions.
“I did like dancing and it was an amazing opportunity to be able to dance on television and travel around the world with my best friends,” she said of why she remained on the show despite the drama. “We stayed until the time was right and I think when we left it was the time to go. I think we stayed the right amount.”
