Fear or just good legal advice?
In a second 911 call, obtained from the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office, Chris Soules can be heard trying to revive the victim of his car-to-tractor collision before ultimately fleeing the scene.
“I rear-ended a guy on a tractor,” Chris told the 911 dispatcher. “The man on the tractor [is injured.]…He’s not conscious. I can’t tell [if he’s breathing.] He doesn’t appear to be.”
As the dispatcher attempted to talk him through CPR, he screamed, “There’s blood, there’s blood.”
After CPR was seemingly performed on the 66-year-old victim, Chris told the dispatcher that he felt a pulse.
“I can feel a pulse, yeah he’s got a pulse,” Chris said as he tried to catch his breath. “You guys on your way?”
When The Bachelor star confirmed that he saw law enforcement and medical vehicles up the road, he asked the operator, “Can I call you back really quick?”
As OK! readers know, the former bachelor then fled the scene of the accident.
While he and his vehicle were later found at a house, the 35-year-old allegedly refused to leave until officers obtained a search warrant several hours later.
Court documents revealed alcoholic beverages and a container were found at the scene.
