Chris Soules has kept himself busy following his run on The Bachelor! First he hit the dance floor on Dancing With The Stars and then he traded in his dancing shoes for an apron to appear on Worst Cooks in America.
Prince Farming is now teaming up with the National Pork Board to help bring awareness to America’s Pig Farmer of the Year!
“I was asked to be one of the celebrity judges for the award," Soules exclusively told OKmagazine.com. “The award is something that is given to an outstanding pig farmer in the United States. We’re trying to shed light on what farmers in the United States are doing and helping consumers understand where their food comes from.”
Pig farmer Keith Schoettmer was awarded the title. He explained that his message is for consumers to know “how their food is produced and to let them know there are real people behind the products put on the market place.”
When Soules isn’t promoting the cause, he’s focusing on his own farm in his hometown of Arlington, Iowa.

“We started harvest two weeks ago,” he said. “Harvest for us is the most exciting time of the year. It’s that point where you get to see the fruits of your labor. Everything is rocking and rolling back at the farm!”
