De Rossi Becomes A Third Wheel As Ellen DeGeneres And Drew Barrymore Grow Closer
Portia de Rossi is facing competition for her wife Ellen DeGeneres’ attention from an unlikely source — Drew Barrymore!
According to RadarOnline.com, Ellen and Drew have become close pals since teaming up for a new TV show, First Dates, which Ellen produces and Drew narrates.
Although the two have always been friendly, this new partnership has Portia worried, especially as Drew becomes a semi-regular on Ellen’s talk show.
“Portia is threatened by Ellen’s relationship with Drew,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Their emotional bond is obvious, and Portia is feeling completely left out.”
Drew’s newly single status (the actress divorced from her third husband a year ago) as well as her admission to being bisexual have both raised De Rossi’s suspicions, the insider claimed.
In an interview with Contact magazine, Drew revealed, “Do I like women sexually? Yes, I do. Totally. I think a woman and a woman together are beautiful, just as a man and a woman together are beautiful.”

Plus, Portia fears her serious side can’t compete with Drew’s quirky humor, which meshes well with Ellen’s.
“Ellen and Drew have the same goofy sense of humor, and they laugh like idiots at each other’s jokes,” the source told Radar. “Portia is a lot more serious, and it’s like those two have some unspoken language that she’s not part of.”
Portia’s insecurities regarding Drew come on the heels of rumors that the couple’s eight-year marriage is on the rocks. “They spend less and less time together,” an insider claimed.
