When Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi arrived at Hollywood hotspot Madeo for dinner this April to celebrate, But an insider says, as the duo wound up getting into a heated squabble over Portia’s lack of appetite. Though the Scandal star long ago overcame her struggle with severe anorexia, “Ellen still watches every bite she takes,” the insider says. “When she ordered nothing but the vegetable soup for dinner, Ellen went off on a lecture,” “telling her repeatedly that she needs to eat something more substantial. People started staring — Portia was mortified.” The tiff prompted the pair to cut the night short and leave in a hurry, with Ellen giving her wife of nine years the cold shoulder. “Portia kept trying to talk to Ellen, but she wouldn’t even look at her,” the insider shares. “They were both stone-faced”
