James Franco isn't taking the Oscar criticism surrounding him to heart and is even able to crack jokes about it with his Your Highness co-star Danny McBride.

James and Danny discussed the rumors that James was in an "altered state" while hosting the Oscars with Extra.
"I didn't use any more heroin than I normally use," James explained.
Danny added, "You called me before and asked, 'What's the proper amount of black tar heroin to do before you do the Oscars?' "

And then James and Danny discussed their Your Highness co-star, Natalie Portman, and her big Oscar win.
"I was a little shocked that she didn't thank Danny because we actually shot this movie before Black Swan, and I think Danny really prepared her for that movie," James said.
