In a deleted scene for Teen Mom 2, the reality star dad opens up to his sister, Lydia, about the relationship between his new girlfriend, Briana DeJesus, and his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry. He explains that the celebration for Lincoln's birthday was quickly ruined after he decided to invite Briana to Delaware with her daughters, even though she is Kail's enemy.
