Jinger Duggar is a mommy.
The Counting On star, 24, welcomed her first child, Felicity Nicole Vuolo on July 19th.
Jinger and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, couldn't hide their joy as they shared the news. “God is so kind. Jinger gave birth to Felicity Nicole Vuolo this morning at 4:37 a.m.,” Vuolo told Us Weekly. “Felicity weighs 8 lbs and 3 oz, and is 19.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are healthy, doing great, and resting well. We are very thankful for her safe arrival and look forward to life as parents!”
Jinger and Jeremy are the first Duggar couple to have a girl since Josh and Anna welcomed their daughter, Meredith Grace, in 2015. There have been six Duggar births since and all have been boys.
Earlier this week, the couple shared their excitement about meeting their daughter.
"Any day now we will be holding our little girl in our arms! ?," Jinger captioned a smiling pic of her holding her then-full belly alongside Jeremy.
In January, after more than a year of marriage, the Counting On stars announced they were expecting their first child.
“The past 14 months have been the best of our lives as we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage,” the couple told Us Weekly. “We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be. Truly, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: We are expecting our first child!”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
