Immediately after winning an Oscar, the winners are whisked into a press room where they must field questions from reporters. It may not be the ideal way of celebrating, but Julianne Moore did it with a smile after getting her trophy for Best Actress. Julianne has been nominated five times and finally won, so we totally get why she couldn't stop grinning!
In the press room, Julianne talked to the journalists about why she felt like she won for Still Alice and not her other films—"I like movies about people," she said—and revealed that her husband Bart Freundlich was the first to see the movie and the first to predict her Oscars win! "He was the first person to see the movie and he was like, 'you're going to win an Oscar," she said. Clearly he's a smart man!
