Watch! Laverne Cox Reveals She’s ‘In Love’ With Boyfriend She Met On Tinder
Laverne Cox is a woman in love!
During an appearance on Access Hollywood Wednesday, the Orange Is the New Black star revealed she’s “in love” with her boyfriend of eight months — whom she met on Tinder!
“It’s incredible,” Laverne told hosts Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover. “I’m just so happy.”
Laverne admitted that although there are risks to being a celeb on a dating app, she had to put herself out there to find love. Plus, she has a technique for screening the men who only want to date her because she’s a celeb.
“I’m not putting effort into a guy I don’t know yet,” she said. “You might not look like your pictures. You might smell. I showed up with my current boyfriend…like with no makeup. I had some jean shorts. And it worked out.”
Laverne revealed she’s met her man’s parents and he’s met her mom. “Everybody gets along. His family’s amazing. My mom likes him. It’s good,” she gushed.
