Madeleine McCann disappeared on May 12, 2003, at only 3 years old during her family’s vacation to Portugal.

Journalist James Murray said at the time of Madeleine’s disappearance, “They were asking people, ‘Have you seen the child? Have you seen anything suspicious? A child’s gone missing.’”

The case still remains a mystery, however Investigation Discovery is shedding light on what really might have happened in a new series.
