Watch: The Chilling Trailer For 'Making A Murderer Part 2' Is Here
In December 2015, Making a Murderer — a Netflix docu-series about Steven Avery, a man from Manitowoc, Wisconsin, accused of murdering a young woman, Teresa Halbach — drew international attention. People all over the world were left wondering if Steven was guilty or innocent. Now, Making a Murderer Part 2 will document his fight for exoneration.
"I didn't think all these people would care," Steven can be heard saying in a new trailer for the series. He's completely in awe of the media attention surrounding his case. Thousands signed petitions, wrote letters, and volunteered their time to help get Steven out of jail.
Fortunately for him, he's now got prominent attorney Kathleen Zellner on his side. She's known for her ability to overturn convictions, which is exactly what she plans to do for Steven.
"I have one goal," Kathleen says in the clip, "and that's to overturn the conviction of Steven Avery."
Toward the end of the trailer, Kathleen describes an "abundance of evidence" in favor of Steven's innocence. "This could flip the whole case," she says.
