Meghan Markle's Dad Suffers Heart Attack, Pulls Out Of Royal Wedding Amid Photo Scandal
Meghan Markle’s father Thomas won’t be attending her wedding after all!
In the midst of the fallout from his photo scandal, Meghan’s dad has reportedly announced he has chosen not to attend the royal event. He also dropped the bombshell that just six days ago, he suffered a heart attack but checked himself out of the hospital prematurely to make it to the wedding — which he no longer plans to attend.
Thomas’ announcement comes after the former Hollywood lighting director admitted he worked with paparazzi to stage photographs of himself leading up to the royal wedding. These photographs included Thomas reading a book about Great Britain, getting fitted for a tux, and researching coverage of Meghan and Prince Harry on the internet.
According to reports, Thomas admitted he hoped the photos would help improve his public image but regrets the embarrassment they’ve brought to Meghan and the royal family.

Thomas, who has yet to meet Prince Harry, was supposed to walk Meghan down the aisle. It's now possible Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, from whom Thomas is divorced, may take on that responsibility.
The royal wedding is this Saturday, May 19, at Windsor Castle in England.
