Megyn Kelly and NBC faced a storm of backlash on social media after the first preview of the anchor’s interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones aired.
Jones, a conservative radio host, is widely known for believing tragedies like 9/11 and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting are hoaxes.
A mother, who lost her child in the shooting, along with the likes of Chelsea Clinton, called for a boycott of the episode on Twitter.
