See Mike Meyers Pay Tribute To Late 'Austin Powers' Co-Star Verne Troyer
Mike Myers recalled his late friend and Austin Powers co-star Verne Troyer on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night.
While speaking with the late night host, Mike praised Verne’s comedic skills and credited him with taking the role of Mini-Me from a sideline character to a main star in the films.
“As written, Mini-Me is like almost a prop,” Mike explained. “But he brought it up off the page, made it better than written and we ended up giving him more and more stuff to do.”

Mike also spoke of Verne’s incredible life, saying that in just 49 years, the actor seemed to squeeze in “150 years worth of life.”
