Model Hunter McGrady Talks 'Sports Illustrated,' Body Positivity And More!
It must be pretty awesome to be Hunter McGrady right now, as she's truly become one of the most talked about models of 2018 and shows no signs of slowing down in the near future.
The 24-year-old Los Angeles native made heads turn in more ways than one when she was featured in the legendary swimsuit issue for Sports Illustrated this year. Her curvy and gorgeous figure has earned her thousands of fans in the process (she has close to 500,000 alone on her Instagram page), and in an OK! exclusive, it looks as if the sky is the limit for her with what's to come in her very promising career.
Hunter spoke about being featured in the swimsuit issue, which has truly changed her life. “This year, I was a Sports Illustrated rookie, which was so exciting!" she exclaimed. "Because of that, it’s opened so many doors."
One of those doors has her going into the design side of the fashion industry. "I have a swimsuit collection with Playful Promises dropping in June! I’m so excited, the pieces are absolutely gorgeous," she said. "It was so tedious while designing them, because I know that being a plus-size woman it's so hard to find beautiful swimwear, where I feel comfortable but still sexy.”

She also spoke about how important body positivity is, and what she would like to see change in the future regarding this very important topic. “You know what, I think that it’s so important to love our bodies as they are, no matter what size you are," she said. "I think that’s the biggest and best message I can promote, is inclusivity. Women uplifting women. I think the media would like to tear that apart, but it's time that we kind of band together and bring positivity into this world."
