A Star Is Born! 'Dance Moms' Star Nia Sioux Dishes On 'Dream' Performance On Broadway In 'Trip Of Love'
Dance Moms has been on the air for five years now, and Nia Sioux is fast proving she’s the biggest breakout star!
The 15-year-old visited OK! Magazine to discuss everything from her latest major career milestone doing an off-Broadway show in New York City and whether or not she’ll return to the Lifetime series.
Sioux is starring in 1960's Pop Music Spectacular "Trip Of Love" for the next six weeks, her biggest dance gig since stealing hearts on Dance Moms and her dream since she’s a little girl.
“It’s been a dream of mine since I was a little baby to be on Broadway so this is a dream come true,” she dished. “It’s a blessing.”
In addition to singing and dancing with the ensemble of seasoned Broadway vets, Nia will also perform solos specially choreographed by the legendary James Walski to “These Boots Are Made for Walkin'", “Wipe Out” and her favorite, “Moon River.”
“My favorite dance would have to be ‘Moon River’ because it’s a ballet piece and I know people aren’t used to seeing me do ballet, so it’s nice that people can see me in a different light,” she continued.
