Jill Duggar just dropped a major baby name hint!
While the Duggars are known to keep fans in suspense when it comes to their baby names (the entire family loves making a good ol’ YouTube video to announce their big news), it looks like the expectant mom may have ditched family tradition and already announced the name of her unborn son.
In her latest Dillard Family blog post – Jill and her husband Derick Dillard are currently in Central America on a mission trip – the Counting On star revealed that the locals have a nickname for her son, and it seems like it could be the Spanish translation of the name she and Derick have already chosen.
“Little ‘Samuelito’ (as the locals call him) sometimes wakes mommy up at night now with his active kicking,” the Counting On star, who is due in July, wrote in her blog.
“We look forward to returning home soon to prepare for the birth (before we can’t fly anymore!).”
So, could Samuel be the name of Jill and Derick’s second son?
It’s definitely possible as the family has a history of naming their children after biblical heroes and/or Christian symbols, and Samuel was a prophet in the bible.

The couple’s oldest son, Israel, is named after the country that was the setting of many stories in the bible.
