Watch! 'Racing Wives' Stars Whitney Dillon & Mariel Lane Reveal How They Mesh With The Other NASCAR Spouses
Racing Wives stars Whitney Dillon and Mariel Lane revealed to OKMagazine.com that they're doing their best to fit in with the rest of their costars on the new CMT show, which premiered on Friday, August 2.
Racing Wives centers around the lives of NASCAR’s most prominent wives. Whitney is a former Tennessee Titans cheerleader who is now married to NASCAR’s Austin Dillon. Mariel is also a former Tennessee Titans cheerleader who is married to a member of Austin's pit crew Paul Swan.
Whitney and Mariel are best friends, and they admitted that it has been a little tricky to mesh with their costars. The two felt that they were "targeted" coming into the show.
"We had a massive target on our back. Not only that, we were NFL cheerleaders and we were just different. We didn't grow up in racing. We had no idea what the rules were and you can see in the show," Whitney said. "We actually break every rule that they have without even knowing," Mariel added.

Whitney continued, "I do think there's a lot of jealousy because Mariel and I, we are not afraid to be ourselves. We are goofy and we don't care what people think about us and I feel like a lot of people wish that they were like that."
