‘RHONY’ Boat Ride From Hell: Here's What Happened When The Cameras Stopped Rolling
The ladies of The Real Housewives of New York City feared for their lives during the boat ride from hell in last night’s episode.
While returning from a private island on a yacht in Cartagena, Columbia, the water suddenly turned choppy — and the yacht nearly capsized.
“When we left that island, we got on the boat from hell,” Bethenny Frankel explains in the video above.
“We all thought we were going to die at sea,” Luann de Lesseps shared. “It was so bad that even the cameras had to go down, because they were holding on for dear life.”
With no actual footage from the deadliest part of the ride, the ladies recapped every terrifying detail of what went down — from the anchor accidentally deploying in the middle of the ocean to the captain using two swords (“a la Pirates of the Caribbean,” Luann quipped) to cut themselves free.
“Had the anchor been on a chain, the boat would have capsized, and I wouldn’t be here to tell the story,” Ramona Singer believes.
