The man of Mission: Impossible has traded in technological devices for a microphone and tight leather pants as he stars as Stacee Jaxx, the former lead singer of Arsenal, in the movie-musical Rock of Ages.

The film features an A-list cast, including Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige and Diego Boneta as it follows the story of two young lovers who face challenges as they try to chase their musical dreams in Los Angeles.

Tom's role in the film, based on the uber-popular Broadway musical of the same name, has been the talk of the town and now we finally get a glimpse of his rock 'n' roll lifestyle — and shirtless abs — in the trailer.
