Savannah Guthrie Apologizes After Hot Mic Catches Her CURSING Live On ‘The Today Show’
When Savannah Guthrie was heard on live TV saying “Oh, sh*t,” on the Today show Wednesday morning over a hot mic, followed quickly by “Sorry, guys,” you could tell that the talk show host was mortified. She continued to look down and away from the camera until she was eventually cut off for a car commercial 30 seconds later.
But as embarrassing as that moment was, afterward Savannah took to her Twitter to poke fun at herself. “Check, check — is this thing on?” she playfully tweeted. Then she expressed her appreciation for fans who did not shame her about her controversial moment. “Thanks for being kind and understanding,” she continued. Then she wrote, “Guess it’s a good thing I don’t wear a mic all day. #ohdarn.” Guess so!
