New Autopsy Uncovers Clues About Steve Jobs’ Mysterious Death

When visionary product designer Steve Jobs died from a rare and easily treatable pancreatic cancer in 2011, fans were left wondering what went wrong. But a new series by Reelz called Autopsy: Steve Jobs is set to finally reveal the truth about why such a wealthy man with so many resources at his disposal, died so unnecessarily.

“When Steve received his diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, he was advised to have surgery,” said renowned Forensic Pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter, who never treated Jobs. “But for nine months, he attempted to cure himself using alternative therapies. However, his tumor continued to grow."

By 2004 — the creator of the iPod, iPhone and iPad — finally agreed to have the procedure done, which was known to have a high degree of survivability.

“Steve’s procedure appeared successful,” Dr. Hunter went on. “But during the surgery, doctors found three spots on the liver and this is not a good thing. It meant that his cancer had spread.
