Teen Mom Week in Review: Maci Gets Patriotic, Catelynn Shares a Pic of Carly And More

As we wait anxiously for the supposed August premiere of Teen Mom 3, let's catch up with the ladies (and gents) of the two original seasons, shall we? Keep reading to see which cast member adopted a puppy this week, who was feeling extra patriotic and who got into a bit of trouble on Twitter  again (you guessed it, it's Jenelle).

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda Patterson, have only been married for a few weeks but they already have a new addition! Both Corey and Miranda have tweeted about their new little guy, an adorable pup named Axel. We bet the twins are loving him already!

But things aren't as peachy these days for Corey's ex, Leah Calvert. Isaac Messer, Leah's brother, took to Twitter to defend his adorable niece, Ali,  from mean things said about her in the media and Leah obviously had to share his sweet words with her fans on Twitter. Exhibit A:

And speaking of cute kids, Catelynn Lowell shared an adorable photo of her and Tyler's daughter, Carly, whom they put up for adoption when she was born. Cate and Ty get regular photo updates of their little girl from Carly's adoptive parents, but this is the first time in a while that she's shared a photo of Carly with fans. She's SO freakin' cute and getting so big!

And so is Bentley Edwards. Maci Bookout's little boy is officially a real kid right now. Maci posted this cute photo of the two of them at her family's annual July 4th Bookout Cookout and we cannot believe how big he is compared to a similar photo the two took last year. And also, how much does Benny look like his mama? It's creepy! In a good way.

Chelsea Houska was clearly in a patriotic mood this weekend too. She posted adorable, summery pics of Papa Randy and Aubree over July 4th weekend and then later posted this photo of her new fiery red hair. Looking good as per usual, Chels.

And speaking of hair, Chelsea is going to be doing Kailyn Lowry's hair for her big day! After having a bit of a hair crisis with the people she originally hired to style her, Kail tweeted at Chelsea asking for her to help out on the big day and Chels obviously obliged. One thing to say to Kail and Chelsea about this—(Insta) pics or it didn't happen.

And then there was Jenelle Evans, always keeping us Teen Mom fans on our toes. What's going on with her this week? Here it is: Her boyfriend, Nathan, made a comment about her body, basically insinuating that she looked terrible flat-chested and looks way better now that she got breast implants. Oh, and also? Jenelle accused Courtland Rogers on Twitter of causing her miscarriage a few months back no thanks to a physical altercation they got into when she was pregnant. Not sure who or what we believe here, but we hope if that is true, she stays far, far away from Courtland moving forward. But in good news? Jace is still cute, sooo...

As for Farrah Abraham? She's still undergoing treatment at a rehab facility and has seemed to be getting better, opting for bears instead of beers. You know, like gummy bears. CLICK HERE to read that fun story.
