Watch: Can You Find Carrie Underwood's Facial Scars In New Music Video?
Last month, Carrie Underwood opened up about the freak accident in her Nashville home that left her with broken bones and 40 stitches.
She admitted that in the months after her fall, she felt incredibly insecure due to her injuries. She explained, "It was also a perception thing, because I look at myself now and I see it quite a bit, but other people are like, 'I wouldn't have even noticed.' Nobody else looks at you as much as you think they do. Nobody notices as much as you think they will, so that's been nice to learn."
However, in her brand new video for “Love Wins,” a fan would be hard-pressed to point any facial deformities or disfigurement as she twirls in a burnt orange gown and belts her heart out.
In a press release for the song itself, the Oklahoma native said, “This song is hopeful. It's saying no matter who you are, what you feel, what you think, we're all human beings. We all deserve love. We all deserve respect and we all should try to show that to one another.”
