Whitney Port Reveals Her Keys To Running A Successful Online Store And Why Girl Time Is So Important!
Friends and family are important parts of her life.
Whitney Port has been a fixture on reality TV since 2006 when she first appeared alongside Lauren Conrad in the Teen Vogue fashion closet on The Hills. She then got her own spin-off show, The City, started a fashion line, wrote a book, created an online store and website, and got married!
The 31-year-old recently added to her busy schedule by teaming up with Palm Breeze to promote their new drink and the importance of quality girl time!
“They want girls to get together, drink their drink, and enjoy each other,” Whitney said. “It was fun for me because my girls are everything.”
A little girls-only distressing time is especially needed after marrying Tim Rosenman, who helped produce her reality show! “Marriage has been amazing. It’s more than I ever could dreamt of,” explained Whitney, who called their bond “special.”
As for her new Spring/Summer 2016 line the fashionista uses her website and online store to help direct her designs and conduct market research.
In her new line Whitney revealed, “I have a lot of really fun floral dresses.” She focused on “comfortable dresses” with a little bit of specialty like a cutouts or flare details and all the prints are custom!
She did clarify what life was like on a reality TV show. Yes, people dramatize things for the sake of it being entertaining or interesting, but Whitney was never handed a script for forced to be anyone but herself.
“I wasn’t ever given a script. I told the producers what was going on in my life and then we just went from there,” she said. “[I was] always in control of how I wanted to be portrayed. No one ever forced me to say anything.”
