Hoda Kotb doesn’t blame Julie Chen for quitting The Talk, especially as she deals with a crisis in her personal life.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live Tuesday night, Hoda told host Andy Cohen that she understood why Julie left the gig, especially since it requires the hosts to “give so much of your personal life” to it.

As OK! readers know, Julie sent a video message to fans on Tuesday, announcing her departure from the show. Julie made the announcement after her husband Les Moonves stepped down from his role as chairman and CEO of CBS, following allegations of sexual misconduct from six women.
